The expressed views of the contributors of the entrepreneur are their own.
Magnecoon is defined as a strong, rich character in business – someone who has achieved dominance in their field. Little in hip-hop embodies this term more than “E-40” Stevens, the legendary rapper of the Bay area often attributed that it brought it to folk culture.
Before he built wine, he launched the best-selling cookbook or created his own tequila series, the E-40 was just a child from the Vallejo Hustling belts from the briefcase.
“I come from the streets, I’m glad I put my grandmother, to the church,” says Stevens. “They taught me to come back, remain praying, stay positive and let the negativity behind.”
Now, a few decades, and several million dollars later, Stevens still throws the heart and always honors the community that formed it.

From the trunk
Although it is best known for its distinctive style and slang from the Bay Area area, Stevens is the same entrepreneur as an artist – no more. He began to rape at the Grambling State University, where he and his friends created a group called The Drifters and wrote a song that became an unofficial anthem school.
When his music began to take off, Stevens moved back to the bay to chase a full -time rap. He joined his cousin, brother and sister, created MVP and hit the studio to record the EP. But the production of music was only half the battle – the other half sold it.
“We had to sell the trunk of our trunk,” Stevens says. “They called me an Earl briefcase because I always walked with a briefcase full of mail order leaves and a suitcase full of cassettes, vinyl or CD.”
He remembers the block block, stopped in alcohol stores, car garages, barbership and discard the belts on the shipment.
Asyy continues to grow, Stevens and what they tried to build their music to a local distributor. Unfortunately, one executioner was not enthusiastic about the idea.
“He said my voice was too fast, and the B-legit quickly read,” Stevens recalls.
He should not be reflected, Stevens was looking for advice from his uncle, St. Charles, a separate musician R&B.
“He caught this book with a big ass, such as the size of the encyclopedia,” laughs Stevens. “He had statements for all retail stores that sold rap music.”
The group sat down and put together one sheet with some basic information about themselves and began to broadcast them into recording shops along with some tapes in the shipment.
“At that time it may take two or three weeks to get the packages as Nebraska or Texas,” says Stevens. “But as soon as they got there and people started playing on tapes in mum and pop stores, people were like” who are these guys? “
The group now called Click has begun to attract national attention, and shortly afterwards, the same executive, who said Stevens rapper called too quickly his uncle to order 5,000 cassettes.
After six years of sales of records independently, Stevens and Click in 1994 signed a distribution agreement with more million dollars with Jive Records and the rest is history. But music is just one piece of puzzle when it comes to Earl Stevens.

One of them is especially close to him and the expensive company Lumpia, a Philippine food company that co -owned.
“I grew up on the slope of Vallejo, where there is a strong Philippine community,” Stevens shared. “I have been playing the ball with a lot of Philippine children since the young age. We met after the game and sometimes I would go uphill to their houses. Their aunts would always cook and there were Always Lumpia. At that time I became a big fan and I am to this day. “

From rapper to the company owner, chef to actor, Stevens has become such a multihyphenate that even his caliber could try to give all his titles in one break.
“I went on the street cold turkey back on the day and I’m glad I did it,” says Stevens. “I rewarded a thousand times. At a young age I became a millionaire, a multimillionaire. I am grateful that I was still doing it in my 50 years. On this level, at this level. And I am proud to be able to hand over the plan to others.”
